They believed that the plant was magical, since it blooms during the winter, when the rest of the nature is resting. Nowadays, it is used as an important ingredient in various types of medicines, because it has proven its medicinal properties. The plant boosts microcirculation, it has toning and refreshing effects, and helps you get rid of harmful toxins. The drug contains 10% of tannins with antiseptic and astringent effects. It is used as a treatment for flesh wounds. It is also a component of many cosmetic products, especially the ones with softening effects, for example creams, facial toners, and after shave lotions. • Witch Hazel Extract – the plant can be found in North America. The extract is rich in essential oils, tanning agents, and saponins. It boosts microcirculation, tones up the skin, refreshes, helps you to get rid of toxins, and it has astringent effects.

• Hyaluronic Acid - Natural, endogenous substance. Regenerates fibrous connective tissue and suppresses skin aging process. Treats skin damages and eliminates wrinkles. Used in anti-aging cosmetics. The acid is able to absorb large amounts of water. Therefore, it is a great source of skin hydration.

• Aloe Vera Extract - Softens, soothes and regenerates sensitive skin. Contains more than 200 rare substances used in the pharmaceutical industry, for example enzymes, vitamins (A, B1, B2, PRO B5, B6, C, E and Beta-carotene), minerals, and amino acids.

• Licorice Extract - Regenerates aging skin. Due to its effects, it is sometimes compared to ginseng.
